Friday night I finally got to catch up with Stacy and Stacey, at the Zombie Hut. Blue drinks! Before Chris and the Crazy Tequila Guy came to meet us, I got to tell the story of Chris's fantastic movie idea - an idea whose time may have finally come.
It's called A Few Top Men, a sequel to both Top Gun and A Few Good Men, with Tom Cruise playing both lead roles - Lt. Pete "Maverick" Mitchell and Lt. Daniel Kaffee. (The Cruise of late would totally say yes to this, no?) It's a few years in the future and as Maverick is getting ready to become a father himself, he realizes he must clear his father's name, restore his honor. [Here the Stac(e)ys added an excellent idea - perhaps Viper, dying of cancer, provides some new, secret bit of info to jumpstart the process.]
Maverick enlists the help of lawyer Lt Daniel Kaffee and the two, with the help of Capt. Ross and the Iceman, investigate. Eventually their research uncovers that......
they have the same father!!!!
Feel free to direct all royalties here. Speaking of old-ish movies, I'm watching Presumed Innocent right now and just noticed that Harrison Ford's son is a tiny Jesse Bradford. Awww. It's so gross how cute that kid is, how half my age.
