I have had a nasty coldflu complete with splitting headache and tubercular cough for a week now. This doesn't make for much to say since lately I've seen nothing but my couch and done nothing but watch countless hours of TNT.
But last Sunday before I took ill with the consumption, we took a trip out to Chester, NJ for a Maize Maze (maize maze!) and some pumpkin picking and many, many cider doughnuts. Lugo, K-dub and I zipcar'd out and met weenie in a giant, slightly muddy field next to the 10 acre rainforest-themed maze (maize maze!). First we ate some doughnuts then picked up our maps and Maize-o-Vision glasses and set out into the corn.
Luckily for us, Lugo is a natural-born navigator because we nearly immediately became completely lost. This maze was HUGE. Even with our master navigator we still half-assed it and probably only walked a little over half the maze. There were little puzzles and word games to solve throughout the maze (maize maze!) but we bypassed most of them in favor of just finding our way out before we got cranky and tired.
